Andrew Reynolds on not getting bogged down

From time to time, I have to remind my students of why we took the Cash On Demand business model route in the first place – because it is SO easy to lose sight of the bigger picture by getting bogged down in the ‘nitty gritty’ detail of the admin of a business.

You see it is SO easy to run around setting up your home ‘office – buying staplers, pens, paperclips and stationary; buying a nice comfy chair and a brand new desk; setting up a beautiful new shiny filing cabinet and some shelves to take your brand new box files which you hope to fill with ‘paperwork’ generated by sales etc

You can even fool yourself into thinking that you ‘ARE IN BUSINESS’ when you have all of this. You’ll sit there at your new desk, surfing the internet and waiting for something to happen.

But – nothing will happen!

You can put up an ‘open’ sign – but guess what? No-one will come. The world has not been waiting patiently for you to open your new business.

People are not waiting for you to announce that you are now running your own business from home. They have no idea who you are or what you do.

You can show your friends around your new office area – and you can hand other one of your new business cards – on which you proudly proclaim you are the Chairman of XYZ PLC.

Now – you think I’m kidding – but I am deadly serious.

I have seen so many people that I have taught – who have ignored completely what I have taught them and have spent all of there time and resources getting set up’.

This is the reason why in the early Modules of the Cash On Demand course, I didn’t write about business admin and all the boring set-up stuff.

The important thing in my view is for you to learn the various aspects of the Cash On Demand business model – and then – only when you are ready to trade, should I even mention boring stuff like “Should I register for VAT?

In the monthly Modules of Cash On demand – among other things – you’ll learn:

In short – the early stages of the Cash On Demand course show you in detail how this type of business works.

More importantly, I try to show you how this Cash On Demand business can bring you a different lifestyle – a freedom that normal businesses simply can’t offer.

Only when you’ve taken all of that on board do we then need to talk about setting up… registering for VAT – or not – training as a Ltd company or a sole trader… and all the mundane background stuff.

None of that will make you money… its just back-room admin…
