As I prepare to write this month’s Cash On Demand module I’m thousands of miles away across the Atlantic in the USA where I’m spending some time travelling.
During the course of my travels I’ve also taken the opportunity to attend one or two pretty amazing private meetings with some very wealthy people. And it was at one of these, just this morning, that I met a woman who has just told me the most fascinating story which I’d like to share with you.
A story which graphically illustrates the SECRET of becoming a Millionaire … or whatever else you wish to be or have.
A secret which I’ve always known myself and which I used to become a Cash Millionaire within a couple of years of using it.
And a secret which I was reminded of when I heard this woman’s story…
Hers is a remarkable account which began in China where this woman was born.
From her earliest days her life had always been a struggle … and I mean a real struggle. Not what we in the west tend to call a struggle.
Even from the first few years of her life she wasn’t free to just enjoy the simple innocence of childhood. Far from it in fact, as in the early years of her life her mother dressed her as a BOY and forced her to behave like one. She even had to keep the secret that she was a little girl from her father!!
Why? Well it wasn’t because her mother was cruel … completely the opposite in fact. The problem was that unfortunately this was necessary due to the demands in her community – as girls are NOT educated in the same way as boys.
But of course, eventually the truth came out…
The result was that this little girl was now faced with a life WITHOUT education … and that meant a life which would leave her a second class citizen in some far away village. Basically a life of never-ending chores, hard work and drudgery.
Now its difficult for us in the west to truly appreciate just how hard it is for a poor peasant Chinese girl to even enjoy the basic right we should all have of a formal education. And the enormous difference it can make in her whole life.
Indeed in our cosy life’s in the UK its difficult to truly imagine just what kind of demands an uneducated Chinese girl would be faced to endure for the rest of her days.
However, thankfully, her mother could appreciate exactly what the future would hold for her daughter. And unlike most mothers in this part of the world she had a dream … a BELIEF … that her daughter could have a better life. She refused to accept the system.
Which is why she spent years of extreme determination … persevering time and time again … ignoring every door which had been slammed in her face. Until eventually she was finally able to get her daughter into a school in the only ‘western’ part of China, which wasn’t even China at the time of course … Hong Kong.
However, her school years … like her early years … were a struggle…
Eventually though …with her mother’s help … she managed to get through. So she at least had an education … some glimmer of hope to hang on to for a future.
Well to cut a long story short, after her school years came to an end … and showing the same belief as her mother that you DON’T have to accept the life you are given or ‘expected’ to ‘play’ out by society … she jumped into the unknown and headed off to the UK in search of a better life.
The kind of life her mother always dreamed of for her. Always believed she could have.
Sadly however, things didn’t turn out very well…
What should have been an exciting adventure … the start of a young vibrant life … turned into a living nightmare for her when she ended up getting married.
The problem was, even though she was educated, her Chinese husband was a traditionalist. Which meant that even in the west she couldn’t escape the negative side of the ‘culture’ and was to all intents and purposes still very much being treated as a second class citizen.
If this wasn’t bad enough, what later transpired was worse when she asked her new husband if she could continue her education.
She wanted to know more about the world … to better herself … to better THEIR life together … and not to just be a ‘traditional’ Chinese wife.
Not too much to ask you would think, especially as she wanted them BOTH to have a better life. However, because of this simple desire to be educated … and for nothing else…
This poor woman suffered regular beatings year after year from her husband…
She was even beaten because she wanted to take driving lessons. And all because, as I said, he demanded her to be a subservient traditional oriental wife.
Now I won’t elaborate here on everything she told me that happened to her, but by the time she’d finished I must admit I was completely gobsmacked at her story and all the things which had happened to her.
But maybe what shocked me most was the fact that this was not an old lady from some bygone age reminiscing of a time when women were little more than slaves. This was a woman of my age (late 40′s), living right now in the 21st Century.
So why am I telling you this?
Because from nothing she became a wealthy person … and all because she made use of a SECRET you possess right at this moment.
Allow me to explain. This little Chinese lady told me how she always had a ‘DRIVING FORCE’ inside her. She had a Mental Attitude to get ahead … a strong desire NOT to be held back by everything around her.
She had a VISION of one day having enough wealth to break free and be her own person…
This is something I can relate to so much. Indeed, if you’ve ever attended one of my Cash On Demand Masterclasses, you’ll know that one of the first things I try to get across to my students is that :
“The life you have led in the past DOESN’T have to be the ONLY life you lead…”
And that is so true … particularly in this woman’s case. She went from being disguised by her mother as a boy to fighting ‘the system’ every step of the way. From being beaten by her husband to coming out the other side as a successful entrepreneur having made Millions of Pounds in Cash.
I was so totally in awe of this tiny little woman who had struggled against so much adversity to make a different life for herself. Sometimes you just hear something which humbles you I guess.
Anyway, I suppose the reason I’m writing about this to you is because its an illustration of a secret which we all possess … yes, YOU possess this secret RIGHT NOW … yet which remains dormant in 99.9% of people their entire life.
What’s the secret?
The secret is simply to CHANGE YOUR THOUGHTS … to literally PROGRAMME yourself with a different ‘Blueprint’ inside.
