Up against some very strong competition from a long list of businesses, The Entrepreneur Channel was awarded the prestigious award of Surrey Small Business of the Year at the Surrey Business Awards.
The award was presented at the highly acclaimed Surrey Business Awards held at the lavish setting of Sandown Park, Esher. The judging panel, which included representation from some leading business organisations in Surrey including, Surrey County Council, Surrey Economic Partnership, Surrey Advertiser, Royal Bank of Scotland, 96.4 Eagle Radio, Deloitte, The Institute of Customer Service and Business Link Surrey, had spent a number of months going through hundreds of entries from businesses across Surrey to finally announce the award winners.
The Entrepreneur Channel had only launched the previous year as a TV Broadcast channel on Sky as well as a full media website, showcasing a range of Entrepreneurial products and services from experts around the world.
Commenting on the Award, Founder and Owner of The Entrepreneur Channel, Andrew Reynolds said “To be up against so many other established businesses and then win this award in only our second year of trading is a fantastic achievement and something we are all very proud of.’
To collect the Award Andrew Reynolds was joined by Operations Director Simon Venn, who said ‘There are a lot of people to thank who have helped us make this new and exciting media channel for entrepreneurs across the UK and Europe a success. Special mention goes to Webrom who provided our VOD, (Video on Demand), content for our customers allowing them to view our content at any PC anytime they wish to.’
Caroline Bullock, Award category judge and Business Editor for Surrey Advertiser added, ‘This award seeks out those companies that have shown strong innovation, work ethic and a strong team where every member is valued. When choosing Surreys Best Small Business I am looking for evidence of an exciting, dynamic and forward thinking organisation who maximise their size to their advantage.’
