MAKING MONEY FROM TIN CANS

Andrew Reynolds MAKING MONEY FROM TIN CANS

Lady students of Andrew Reynolds Cash On Demand course who attended his O2 Bootcamp were given a unique treat, live from the stage

Firstly the Bootcamp audience watched a fascinating video clip of a guy called Golden who started and built a little business in his shack in Khayelitsha, a township on the outskirts of Cape Town, South Africa.

Golden’s unique story of success started when he had a dream about picking flowers on a rubbish dump near the shack. He went to the dump the next day to find flowers – but there were none growing there. That night he had the same dream again – and the following day he again visited the pile of rubbish to try, without success, to find flowers.

A third dream along the same lines saw him return to the dump again – convinced his dream had meant something. Disappointed at not finding flowers he was about to set off for home when he kicked an old drinks can that had been thrown on the dump. From nowhere he had the crazy idea of fashioning a flower petal out of the drinks can metal.

The audience at the Andrew Reynolds Cash On Demand Bootcamp watched as Golden showed Andrew live on camera, how he flattens out the tins, uses scissors to cut petals, then uses old coffee cans to make long stems to finish the flowers. Some are then painted in bright colours – although some are left with the drink logos peeping through.

The audience watched – and gradually caught on – as Andrew asked Golden on camera, if he could make 2,500 flowers and send them to the UK quickly. Wearing a huge grin, Golden said he could – and work began on collecting enough cans for Golden and his whole family to make the huge flower order.

As a surprise Andrew Reynolds Cash On Demand students – ladies only – were then each handed a handmade flower which Golden had sent over in time for the Bootcamp event.

As Andrew Reynolds said “If Golden can make literally out of nothing – or out of old cans that have been thrown away – anyone in this Bootcamp can make money.
